Swatch numbers stay local. Your project is never uploaded.

Target dimensions, your gauge, pattern gauge, and yarn metres are calculated only on the current page. GaugeMate does not ask for photos, pattern files, purchase history, or body measurements, and it does not connect to stores or social platforms.

Planning math, not a complete knitting pattern

The tool rounds target width × your stitches/10 for cast-on count and target height × rows/10 for row count, then shows the width those stitches would make at pattern gauge, a stitch correction factor, and a rounded-up minimum skein count. The 0–7 yarn table is a common reference only. It does not handle ease, pattern repeats, edge stitches, shaping, shrinkage, dye-lot variation, joining waste, or garment construction, and it cannot guarantee enough yarn.

The page does not save project or body data

Refreshing or closing discards current inputs. The report studio and optional local checkpoints read only the visible numerical summary; they never receive photos, pattern text, or purchase records. If target dimensions represent personal body measurements, still treat shared reports as potentially sensitive.

Advertising and local preferences

This page uses Google AdSense Auto Ads. Google may use cookies or similar technologies under its policies. .miluland.com domain cookies sync language, theme, high contrast, a six-item recent-tools list, and up to 16 favorite tool IDs across MiluLand sites. These values never contain inputs, files, or results; the current site also keeps a local compatibility copy.

Local report studio

The report studio reads only the workbench’s currently visible result summary for local preview, Markdown copy, JSON download, printing, and a SHA-256 fingerprint. It never reads input controls or original files and is not persisted unless you choose to download it.

Optional local checkpoints

Only when you explicitly choose Save does the tool write the visible result summary, time, and optional short label to this site’s browser storage, up to five entries. Imported files and input-control contents are never stored; you can export, restore same-tool checkpoints, or clear them at any time. Imports are limited to 128KB and validate the tool, timestamp, summary, and label of up to 80 characters.
